1939 –

Marbletend’s origins can be traced back to 1939, when John Penman started an engineering pattern making business – John Penman Patterns Pty Ltd.

1978 –

John Penman Patterns Pty Ltd. Is renamed to Marbletrend Bathrooms Industries by John’s son, Alan Penman. It moves into the manufacturing and supply of synthetic marble bathroom products.

1986 –

Marbletrend Bathrooms Industries expands their range to include showers, shower bases, and vanities.

1990s –

Marbletrend opens first branch in QLD

Marbletrend opens in NSW

2000 –

Marbletrend opens up its doors in Western Australia

Marbletrend moves to Bayswater office in Victoria

2007 –

Marbletrend is acquired by investment company Concentrated Capital, and is renamed from Marbletrend Pty Ltd. To Marbletrend Group.

Marbletrend Group is listed on the ASX (ASX Code: MBD) at $0.25 per share

2011 –

Marbletrend unveils new logo

Marbletrend expands bathroom range to include designer and premium bathroom products

Marbletrend opens in SA

2012 –

Marbletrend acquires Citywide

2015 – 

Gemini Industries acquires Marbletrend and invests significantly in upgrading Victoria manufacturing facilities

2016 –

Marbletrend unveils its new showroom at its office in Scoresby, Victoria.
